Sid and Circular Head Mayor Daryl Quilliam at the official launch of upgrades to, and creation of new walking tracks in Smithton. The Federal Government provided $277,000 to the project, and the CH Council contributed $130,000.

Wynyard’s Peter Sadler is the principal signer of a petition set up by Sid against Telstra’s proposed new $2.20 administration fee. The petition has received hundreds of signatures so far. Sid will present the petition to Parliament later this year.

The West Coast Wilderness Railway is a world class tourism venture, based in Strahan, which has been faithfully restored to showcase the historic Abt locomotives and the wonderful West Coast scenery.
Hamer’s Hotel is one of the beautiful heritage buildings in Strahan which draw interstate and overseas visitors to this part of Braddon.
Sid is passionate about ensuring excellent transport links between his electorate of Braddon and the rest of Australia.
Timber and related industries form a vital part of the Braddon economy.
With an abundance of rich farmland in Braddon, Sid has a special interest in rural issues.
Sid’s Braddon electorate leads the way in using alternative fuel technologies such as this wind farm at Woolnorth, near Smithton.
